Hi, I’m Hwapyeong Oh, working as a jazz pianist, composer, and producer in Korea. First of all, congratulations on the 50th anniversary of Yamaha synthesizers! Ever since I began to work as a pro, I’ve always preferred Yamaha because of the dynamic response, well-balanced keys, and the uniqueness you can find in modern MONTAGE and CP Series, which makes Yamaha my best friend on stage. I am super grateful that I was able to work with Yamaha as an artist for the past 20 years. It was especially a great honor when I participated in the sound making of MONTAGE and MONTAGE M presets. My heartiest congratulations to Yamaha for 50 years of amazing synthesizers. The pioneering work done by Yamaha in the field of synthesizers and electronic music, with early instruments such as the CS-80 and the DX7, paved the way for so many amazing works of  electronic music over the past half-century. Today, Yamaha continues to inspire with modern instruments such as the MONTAGE M, MODX+, and the reface series, and I cannot wait to see what the next 50 years will bring.

The Yamaha MONTAGE is a powerful synthesizer that combines advanced technology with exceptional sound quality, making it an ideal instrument for both studio recordings and live performances.

Musical instruments create sound and inspire the player, transforming it into the emotion that is passed on to the audience. Every time I play Yamaha, I feel confident.

Fifteen years ago, my journey as a professional musician began with the Yamaha MM6. To this day, Yamaha synthesizers have continuously improved, both in terms of sound and features, making them more convenient and meeting the needs of musicians of all generations. Without a doubt, I remain confident in Yamaha and will continue using their synthesizers and workstations in the future.

Yamaha reface CS is my favorite mini synth. It’s so easy to carry, light weight. The sound is fantastic!
